Your notifications inbox

The bell icon in the navigation bar is your notifications inbox. A red badge on the bell tells you how many unread notifications you have across everything — RSVPs, event updates, invitations, calendar follows, media-wall activity.

Opening the inbox

Tap the bell to see the list. The most recent notifications are at the top.

Each notification:

  • Shows what happened and which event or calendar it's about
  • Has an icon hinting at the kind (calendar, person, photo, etc.)
  • Is a deep link — tap it to land on the right page

Marking things read

Opening the inbox marks visible notifications as read. The badge count updates instantly.

Real-time

When something new happens, the badge ticks up without you needing to refresh — as long as your Cloomba tab is open or you have push notifications enabled.

Push notifications

Push notifications are the same events, delivered to your device's notification centre. See Setting up push notifications to turn them on.

Email notifications

Some kinds of notification — RSVP confirmations, event updates, invitations — are also sent by email. See Email reminders & alerts.

What you can't do yet

There's no per-kind preference toggle today — you get all notifications relevant to the events and calendars you're part of. A more granular preferences page is on the roadmap.
