Checking in guests at the door
Cloomba's check-in feature lets you track attendance as guests arrive. Every registered guest has a QR code — scan it at the door to mark them as checked in.
How guests get their QR code
Each registered guest receives a QR code in their RSVP confirmation. They can find it:
- In their confirmation email
- On the event page when signed in to their Cloomba account
- In the Cloomba mobile app
Scanning QR codes
Open the Check-in tab on your event page from your phone or tablet. Tap the scan button to activate the camera and scan a guest's QR code. If the code is valid, the guest is marked as checked in instantly.
The check-in view shows a running count of how many guests have arrived versus the total expected.
Manual check-in
If a guest cannot show their QR code, you can find them by name in the check-in list and mark them in manually. The list supports search so you can find anyone quickly even at a large event.
Multiple check-in stations
Several people can run check-in simultaneously on different devices — the count updates in real time across all of them. Useful for events with multiple entrances or high arrival volumes.
After the event
The check-in data stays in your guest list after the event ends. You can export it as a CSV if you need an attendance record.
