Deleting Your Account

Actualizado el 10 Jun 2026

Deleting your account

Deleting your Cloomba account is a serious step. Once erased under GDPR, your profile and personal data are removed and cannot be recovered.

Two deletion modes

  • Soft delete — your account is deactivated and you're signed out. You have a 30-day grace window to sign back in and reactivate it. After that, the account is permanently erased.
  • GDPR erasure — immediate permanent anonymisation. Used when you ask for the right to erasure under Article 17. Requires a recent sign-in for security.

Before you delete

  • Events you organised — these are NOT auto-cancelled today. If you have upcoming events with registered guests, cancel them first so attendees are notified properly. We're working on automating this.
  • Paid tickets — if guests hold paid tickets to your future events, issue refunds via Stripe before deleting.
  • Your RSVPs — your future RSVPs no longer count once the account is deleted.

How to delete your account

  1. Open Account from the navigation
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
  4. Confirm your decision

You'll be signed out on all devices.

After deletion

  • Your public profile and username become unavailable
  • Emails sent to your address will no longer reach a Cloomba account
  • You can create a new account with the same email at any time — it starts completely fresh
