Browse events by city

Cloomba organises in-person events by city, so you can see what's happening in a place you live or are visiting.

City pages

Every supported city has its own page at /city/<slug> — for example /city/bratislava or /city/prague. The page lists upcoming public events anchored to that city.

When you create an in-person event, the venue address is automatically matched to the nearest city in our curated list (within ~65 km). You don't set the city manually — give a good address and the right city follows.

The Explore Local block

On the Discover page, the Explore Local block shows cities with public events coming up. Only cities with at least one upcoming event are listed, so the block stays useful.

Popular nearby

If you set a home city in your profile settings, Cloomba shows a Popular nearby block above the rest of Discover — upcoming events in your city, surfaced first.

To set your home city: Account → Settings → Home city.

If you don't set a home city, Cloomba falls back to no personalisation; you can still browse any city manually.

Online events

Online events don't have a city — they appear under their own filter rather than on any city page. See Hosting online events.

Subscribing to a city

On any city page you can hit Follow to subscribe. You'll be notified when new events are added in that city.
