How to RSVP to an event

RSVPing on Cloomba lets the organiser know you're coming and, for paid events, secures your ticket.

Finding an event

Open the event page — either from Discover, a link someone shared with you, or a calendar you follow.

Registering

  1. Tap Join (or Register) on the event page
  2. If you're not signed in, you'll be asked to sign in first
  3. For free events, you're confirmed immediately — unless the event requires organiser approval
  4. For paid events, you'll be taken to checkout to complete your ticket purchase

If the event offers several ticket types, you pick one first. Some may be cheaper, limited in number, or only available with a code the organiser gave you.

Tickets that don't show a fixed price

Two kinds of ticket work a little differently.

Pay what you want. You choose the amount. The figure shown is a minimum, and checkout starts there — you can raise it before paying. If the minimum is 0, leaving it at 0 registers you for free with no card involved.

On request. The organiser hasn't published the price. Register anyway: you either see the amount on the payment step, or the organiser agrees it with you afterwards and your place stays pending until it's settled.

When registration has closed

If the event page says Registration has closed for this event, the organiser set a deadline and it has passed. There's no Join button and no waitlist to join — a waitlist is only for events that are full.

It's worth contacting the organiser if you'd still like to come. An invitation they send you after the deadline lets you register anyway.

Events with approval

Some organisers review RSVPs manually before confirming guests. If that's the case, your status will show as Pending after you RSVP. You'll receive an email once the organiser approves or declines your request.

Events with a waitlist

If an event is full, you may be offered a spot on the waitlist. You'll be notified by email if a place becomes available.

After your RSVP

Once confirmed, you'll receive a confirmation email. The event will appear in your profile under upcoming events.
