Hosting free events

If your event is free to attend, Cloomba costs you nothing. No listing fee, no per-RSVP charge, no subscription.


What you get with a free event

Everything on the platform — guest list, check-in, event updates, media wall, invitations, waitlist, guest approval, registration questions, calendars. Free events are not a limited tier. They are the full product.


Setting up a free event

When you create an event, the default is free. Leave the ticket settings on free and publish. There is nothing to configure for payments.

If you want to limit attendance, set a capacity. If you want to vet guests first, enable Require approval. Both work the same way for free events as for paid ones.


Switching from free to paid

You can add a paid ticket type to an event that started as free. Keep in mind that guests who already registered for free will keep their free spot — the paid ticket type applies to new registrations only.
