Issuing refunds to guests

Mis à jour le 10 Jun 2026

Refunds for paid tickets are processed through Stripe. Cloomba does not have a built-in refund button — you issue refunds directly from your Stripe dashboard.

How to issue a refund

  1. Log in to your Stripe dashboard.
  2. Go to Payments and find the charge you want to refund.
  3. Click Refund and confirm the amount.

Stripe processes the refund and returns the money to the guest's original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on the guest's bank.

What is refunded

The guest receives the full ticket price back, and Cloomba refunds its 5% platform fee too — unlike most ticketing platforms, you don't pay to refund. Stripe's payment-processing fee is kept by Stripe and isn't returned to you; that's standard across every Stripe-based platform, not a Cloomba choice.

When you must refund

If you cancel a paid event, you are required to refund all attendees in full. Process refunds through your Stripe dashboard for each ticket sold.

Refund policy on your event page

State your refund policy clearly in the event description — for example whether guests can request a refund if they cancel before a certain date. Where no policy is stated, guests are entitled to a full refund up to the start time of the event.
