Deleting Your Account

Deleting your account
Deleting your Cloomba account is a serious step. Once erased under GDPR, your profile and personal data are removed and cannot be recovered.
Two deletion modes
- Soft delete — your account is deactivated and you're signed out. You have a 30-day grace window to sign back in and reactivate it. After that, the account is permanently erased.
- GDPR erasure — immediate permanent anonymisation. Used when you ask for the right to erasure under Article 17. Requires a recent sign-in for security.
Before you delete
- Events you organised — these are NOT auto-cancelled today. If you have upcoming events with registered guests, cancel them first so attendees are notified properly. We're working on automating this.
- Paid tickets — if guests hold paid tickets to your future events, issue refunds via Stripe before deleting.
- Your RSVPs — your future RSVPs no longer count once the account is deleted.
How to delete your account
- Open Account from the navigation
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
- Confirm your decision
You'll be signed out on all devices.
After deletion
- Your public profile and username become unavailable
- Emails sent to your address will no longer reach a Cloomba account
- You can create a new account with the same email at any time — it starts completely fresh
