Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Cloomba uses cookies and similar technologies.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. It is sent back to the server on subsequent visits so the site can remember information about you.
What we use
Cloomba uses only essential cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics that build profiles of your behaviour.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
session | Keeps you signed in between page loads | Session (cleared when you close the browser) |
locale | Remembers your language preference | 1 year |
Both cookies are set by Cloomba directly (first-party). Neither is used for advertising or shared with third parties.
Third-party services
Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies:
- Firebase (Google) — used for authentication. May set cookies to manage your sign-in session. See Google's cookie policy.
- Stripe — used for payment processing on paid event pages. May set cookies for fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie policy.
We have no control over third-party cookies and they are governed by the respective parties' policies.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you delete or block the session cookie you will be signed out and will need to sign in again.
Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are stored
- Delete individual or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites or all sites
Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
Changes to this policy
If we start using additional cookies we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.
