Event colours and appearance

Aggiornato il 14 Jul 2026

Your event page takes its colours from your cover image, automatically. There is no theme to choose — pick a cover you like and the page is styled to match it.

How it works

When you set a cover image, Cloomba reads the colours out of it and builds a palette for your event: a background, a surface for cards, an accent for buttons, and matching text colours. It builds a light version and a dark version, so the page looks right whichever mode your guests browse in.

The whole event page adopts that palette — including the navigation bar and the footer — on the web and in the Cloomba mobile apps. Guests see the same colours everywhere.

Changing the colours

To change your event's colours, change the cover image. That is the only lever, and it is the point: the page always agrees with the picture at the top of it.

You can upload your own image, or pick one from Cloomba's cover library. Every event gets a cover from the library when it is created, so your page is never unstyled.

See Event cover image for what makes a good cover.

Previewing the palette

Open your event, go to Edit, and find the Appearance card. It shows the colours Cloomba pulled from your current cover. Swap the cover and the swatches update.

Turning it off

If the cover colours are not what you want for a particular event, switch on Use default app colors in the Appearance card. The event is then shown in Cloomba's standard light and dark theme, and the cover palette is ignored — on the web and in the mobile apps.

Your palette is kept, so you can switch back at any time without re-uploading anything.
