Issues with RSVPs

Here are solutions to the most common RSVP problems.

RSVP button isn't showing

  • You may not be signed in — the RSVP button requires an account. Sign in and try again.
  • The event may be full — if capacity is reached, you'll see a waitlist option instead.
  • The event may have ended — RSVPs close when the event starts.
  • The event is private — you need a direct invitation from the organiser to RSVP.

My RSVP is stuck on "Pending"

Some organisers review RSVPs manually before confirming guests. Pending means your request is waiting for their approval. You'll receive an email once a decision is made. If the event is soon and you haven't heard back, contact the organiser directly.

I RSVPed but can't find the event

Check that you're signed in with the same account you used to RSVP. If you have multiple sign-in methods, you may be in the wrong account.

I was declined

The organiser declined your RSVP. You'll receive a notification when this happens. You can contact the organiser to ask why, but the decision is theirs.

I can't cancel my RSVP

RSVPs can be cancelled before the event starts. If the event has already begun, cancellation is no longer available. For paid tickets, contact the organiser about a refund.

If none of these apply, contact contact us.
