Uploading videos to an event

Video uploads work like photo uploads but with a few extra considerations around file size and organiser permissions.

Who can upload videos

Video uploads are off by default. Organisers must explicitly enable them in the event settings under Allow attendee video uploads. Once enabled, any confirmed attendee can upload a video.

Organisers and admins can always upload videos regardless of this setting.

How to upload

Open the media wall and tap the upload button. Select a video file from your device. You can add a caption before posting.

Supported formats and limits

Supported formats: MP4 (video/mp4) and MOV (video/quicktime). File size limit: 500 MB per video.

Keep clips short — a minute or two is ideal for event moments. Longer recordings are usually better hosted on YouTube or Vimeo and linked from the event description or an update.

Captions

Add a caption to give context — who is speaking, what moment this is, or anything else worth noting. You can edit the caption at any time after posting.

Deleting videos

You can delete your own video posts at any time. Organisers, admins, and moderators can delete any video on the wall.
