Media consent and permissions
What uploaders agree to
When you upload a photo or video to a Cloomba event media wall, you confirm that:
- You took the content yourself or have the right to share it
- Any people visibly identifiable in the content have consented to being photographed or filmed in this context
- The content does not violate anyone's privacy or dignity
This confirmation is shown as part of the upload flow — you cannot upload without acknowledging it.
Your rights if you appear in someone else's upload
If you appear in a photo or video on a Cloomba media wall and want it removed, contact the organiser directly — they can delete any post on their event's wall. If the organiser does not respond, contact us at [email protected] and we will review the request.
Under GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your image in certain circumstances. See GDPR & Your Rights for more.
Organiser responsibility
As an organiser, you are responsible for the content posted on your event's media wall. Make sure attendees understand your photography policy — include it in your event description if it matters for your event. You can remove any post at any time.
Public media walls
If you enable the Open media wall setting, content on the wall becomes visible to anyone who can view your event page — not just registered attendees. Keep this in mind when deciding whether to open the wall for public events.
