Submitting an event to a calendar

Any organiser can submit their event to a public calendar. The calendar owner reviews the submission and approves or declines it.


Submitting an event

From your event page or the event editor, find the Submit to calendar option. Search for the calendar you want to submit to and send the request.

The calendar owner is notified of your submission.


What happens next

The calendar owner reviews your submission from their calendar management page. They can:

  • Approve — your event is added to the calendar and its followers are notified.
  • Decline — your event is not added. You can submit to a different calendar instead.

For calendar owners — managing submissions

Incoming submissions appear in a queue on your calendar management page. Review each one and approve or decline. There is no deadline — submissions stay in the queue until you act on them.

You can remove an approved event from your calendar at any time, even after it has been published to followers.


Adding your own events

If you are the calendar owner, you do not need to go through the submission flow for your own events. Add them directly from the event editor or calendar management page.
