How notifications work

Mis à jour le 10 Jun 2026

Cloomba sends notifications to keep you informed about events you care about — without flooding you with noise.

What triggers a notification

As an attendee:

  • Your RSVP is confirmed or declined
  • You move from the waitlist to confirmed
  • The organiser posts an event update
  • The event is cancelled or rescheduled
  • A reminder before the event starts
  • Someone reacts to or comments on your media post

As an organiser:

  • Someone RSVPs to your event
  • A guest requests approval (if Require approval is on)
  • A submission arrives for your calendar
  • Someone uploads to your event media wall

As a calendar follower:

  • A new event is added to a calendar you follow

How notifications are delivered

Cloomba delivers notifications in two ways:

In-app — notifications appear in your notification inbox inside Cloomba, accessible from the bell icon in the navigation.

Push notifications — if you have enabled push notifications in your browser or the mobile app, time-sensitive alerts are delivered directly to your device. See Setting up push notifications.

Managing your preferences

You can control which notifications you receive from your account settings. Some notifications — like RSVP confirmations and event cancellations — are always sent as they are essential to using the platform.
