Cloomba is an event management platform operated by WhiteTown s.r.o., Narcisova 38, 821 01 Bratislava, Slovak Republic (company registration number 47878606, VAT ID SK2024127160). References to "Cloomba", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms mean WhiteTown s.r.o.

By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Cloomba.

1. Who can use Cloomba

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your account with others or use someone else's account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at [email protected].

3. Organiser responsibilities

As an organiser you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and honest information about your events — date, location, price, capacity, and description.
  • Deliver the event as described, or communicate changes to attendees promptly.
  • Handle cancellations and refunds fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
  • Obtain any permits, licences, or permissions required to host your event.
  • Comply with data protection law when handling attendee information.

Cloomba is a platform — we are not a co-organiser, ticketing agent, or party to the agreement between you and your attendees. You are solely responsible for your events and their outcomes.

4. Attendee responsibilities

As an attendee you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when registering for an event.
  • Follow the rules and instructions set by the organiser.
  • Not resell or transfer tickets unless the organiser explicitly permits it.

5. Payments and fees

Free events are always free to host and attend on Cloomba — we charge nothing.

Paid events: Cloomba charges 5% of the ticket price plus payment processing fees (processed via Stripe). These fees are deducted from organiser payouts; attendees pay the listed price. The exact fee breakdown is shown to organisers before they publish a paid ticket type.

Payouts are transferred to the organiser's connected bank account after the event, subject to Stripe's payout schedule.

6. Cancellations and refunds

If you cancel a paid event, you must refund all attendees in full. Cloomba will facilitate refunds through Stripe; Cloomba's platform fee is returned to you when you refund an attendee.

Refund policies for individual events are set by the organiser and must be clearly disclosed on the event page. Where no policy is stated, attendees may request a full refund up to the start time of the event.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not use Cloomba to:

  • Host or promote events that involve illegal activity, violence, or unlawful discrimination.
  • Collect personal data from attendees beyond what is necessary to run your event.
  • Send unsolicited commercial messages to attendees or other users.
  • Impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or Cloomba's systems.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload — event descriptions, photos, and videos. By uploading content you grant Cloomba a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and deliver that content to users of the platform for the purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

Cloomba's own software, design, trademarks, and branding remain our property.

9. Privacy and data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable EU law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our servers are located within the European Union.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Slovak and EU law, Cloomba's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for events that are cancelled, postponed, or fail to meet your expectations — responsibility for those lies with the organiser.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory EU consumer protection law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be referred to the competent courts of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you are entitled to under the law of your country of residence.

As an EU consumer you also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
