Adding a cover image

Aggiornato il 10 Jun 2026

A cover image is the first thing people see when they find your event. It appears at the top of your event page and in social media previews when your link is shared.

How to add one

In the event editor, click the cover image area and upload a photo from your device. Cloomba accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP files. HEIC files (from iPhones) are converted automatically.

Recommended size

A square image (1:1 ratio) works best — Cloomba displays event covers as squares everywhere (event pages, calendars, Discover). A minimum width of 1200 px keeps it sharp on all screens.

What makes a good cover

  • Relevant — a photo from a previous edition of the event, the venue, the speaker, or the topic works better than a generic stock image.
  • Clear at small sizes — the image appears as a thumbnail in listings. Avoid small text or busy designs that become unreadable when scaled down.
  • Good contrast — high-contrast images with a clear focal point work best.

Social media previews

When someone shares your event link on social media or in a messaging app, Cloomba generates a branded preview card built from your cover image, event title, date, and Cloomba branding. A good cover image makes a real difference to click-through rates.

Changing the image

You can replace the cover image at any time from the event editor. The new image takes effect immediately.
