Setting your home city

Your home city is a profile setting that tells Cloomba where you usually attend events.

What it powers

  • The Popular nearby block on Discover — upcoming events in your city are surfaced first.
  • A sensible default when you create an in-person event yourself.

How to set it

  1. Sign in and open Account from the navigation
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Choose your city from the Home city dropdown
  4. Tap Save

The Discover page picks it up immediately.

Changing it

You can change your home city at any time from the same settings page. It's a single value — Cloomba doesn't track a list of "favourite cities".

Not set?

If you don't pick a home city, the Popular nearby block is hidden. You can still browse any city manually from Discover or Browse events by city.

Privacy

Home city is shared only as part of personalising your own Discover view. It's not shown on your public profile and not visible to organisers of events you RSVP to.
