Event visibility: public, unlisted, and private

Atualizado a 10 Jun 2026

Visibility controls who can find and view your event. You set it when creating the event and can change it at any time.

Public

Your event is listed on Cloomba and can appear in discovery pages, category listings, and city pages. Anyone can find it by browsing or searching — no link required.

Use public visibility for open community events, meetups, conferences, or anything you want to promote as broadly as possible.

Unlisted

Your event is not listed anywhere on Cloomba. It will not appear in search or discovery. But anyone who has the link can view it and RSVP.

Use unlisted for events you want to share selectively — within a team, a mailing list, or a specific community — without making them fully public. You can also send personal invitations and generate a PIN link from the Invitations tab.

Private

Your event is completely hidden from non-invited users. Only people you have explicitly invited can see the event page. The event does not appear in any listing and cannot be accessed without a valid invitation link.

Use private for invite-only gatherings, internal company events, or anything where you want full control over who attends.

Changing visibility

You can switch between public, unlisted, and private at any time — before or after publishing. Changes take effect immediately.

Note that making a previously private or unlisted event public will expose it in discovery listings right away.
